Professional Roulette Play From The Past / System 1

Probably one of the earliest documented Roulette Professionals is Charles de'ville, who in the early 1890's successfully used a system called "The Martingale"

In theory, this Casino strategy can't fail to make a profit and involves gambling on the "even money" chances at Roulette, which are by far the best value bets at the table.

The European Roulette Wheel has 37 slots: 1 to 36 coloured red or black and zero, which is green. This gives us three separate areas of even money gambling to concentrate on as follows:

With this Roulette Strategy, each time you place a bet on an even-money chance. If you win, you double your money. If you lose, you simply double your stake next time and so on until you gain a win.

The plus side to this Roulette System is that with deep pockets, you can theoretically win all of the time as it would be an impossibility for a Casino Roulette table to fall on say "Red" all night.

The down side to this Roulette Strategy is that your stakes accumulate quickly when a losing run develops. As you can work out, a losing run of six will cost 63 units in the pursuit of a one-unit gain. However, the probability of this happening is 64 to one.

Before using this system, some people also like to wait until the Casino Roulette table has a run of say three or more on Red or Evens before doubling up on the other side.

If your lucks in, and over short periods of gambling, you can certainly win with this casino system but for the more cautious of players we recommend that you review the system to follow.

Professional Roulette Play From The Past / System 2

The second of our "Even Money Roulette Strategies" from the past looks at a reverse staking strategy to the standard Martingale.

This system works by doubling up on your bet each time you gain a win and then stopping after a run of say three or four winning spins. The theory behind this is that winning and losing runs often happen in sequences and by doubling up on your chosen even bet, you can accumulate a win just as fast as you can lose in the Martingale Roulette Strategy above.

The other advantage is that your losses are always only one unit at a time as once a win is achieved and you double up, this will be the Casino's money.

Again, alike the first system a lucky streak can soon have you in big profits very quickly. The key to both casino systems is to set your self a profit target. Once this is met - LEAVE.
